THE NETWORK

The Space Development Network is a free-to-join network of volunteer space advocates. Our goal is to work together on different projects aimed at advancing the cause of space development. Our goal is to help accelerate the day when humanity's first permanent foothold off Earth is established.

Besides our free membership, one thing that makes our network different is that we don't want to be a society of just talk. Rather, when people join the network they list their training, experience, interests, and talents. We then use that information to organize them into working groups according to those interests. Meeting virtually via Zoom, these groups work to identify projects that align with our Plan for Sustainable Space Development and then to pursue them individually or as a group. In this way we seek to make tangible progress.

When we establish the Moon-Mars Analogue Base, there will be opportunities to conduct Working Sessions where members come together for an intensive period of time to advance the functional level of the base.
